Offshore Wind – Construction Manager for Taiwan

We are looking for profiles with experience from previous offshore construction projects to act in the role of Construction Manager for offshore construction and maritime activities during the development and construction phases of an offshore wind farm. You will be expected to spend the majority of your time in Taipei city, Taiwan, but also travelling to other regions must be expected as part of the work.

Areas of responsibility
You will be part of a team working on an individual offshore wind farm project team and your primary tasks will be to perform overall analyses and to make recommendation and optimisation of logistical and commissioning concepts within the offshore site and other relating facilities.
You will proactively ensure that the offshore works are carried out based on balanced contracts and optimised with respect to time, costs and HSEQ, including negotiation and recommendation of installation contracts.
Furthermore, your tasks will be to:
- manage relevant contracts, schedules and budgets
- prepare and review method statements and risk assessments as applicable to ensure high focus on the maintenance of HSEQ
- ensure that constraints within the offshore site are coordinated
- ensure that commissioning activities are coordinated with main contractors
- coordinate secondary works and preparation for hand-over to O&M
You will have a suitable degree in engineering and can demonstrate results achieved from previous experience and that you have delivered outstanding results within the fields of offshore installation.
You will become a key member of the project team for our execution of future offshore wind farm projects on behalf of our clients.
