Commercial Manager - Liverpool based with some travel.
As the Commercial Manager you can expect a variety of responsibilities. The principle focus will be the commercial management of the Bibby WaveMaster1 vessel, however also preparing for subsequent vessels. Responsibilities will include; tender management; contract negotiation; client relationship management and internal cooperation with other Bibby companies and partners including the vessel technical and crew managers to ensure that the overall vessel solution is industry standard setting on an ongoing basis.
In addition the role will support the Commercial Director in developing our larger service offering in terms of the future vessel fleet and services provided with the vessel, hence the role requires a degree of involvement in the wider industry including attending conferences and seminars.
This is an ideal opportunity for a committed individual who will promote the Bibby values which underpin the way we carry out our activities and ultimately ensure the highest level of customer service.
As a multi-disciplined role, you’ll need to be committed and experienced in the delivery of the highest quality work that crosses financial and operational boundaries. You will therefore need to demonstrate strong organisational skills and a proven track record in the management of tenders and clients (pre and post awards) ideally in the Offshore Wind /Oil & Gas ‘O&M’ market and/or the marine sector. Just as critical are the personal traits you bring to the role including being self-motivated taking personal responsibility for everything you do and drawing on natural communication and team player skills to deliver the business goals by working with a range of internal and external partners. Ideally you will possess a relevant technical or business / finance qualification topped by good analytical, presentation and reporting skills.
